Why become a FABA member?
Events organized by FABA are generally open to both members and non-members.However, becoming a member allows one to:
Enjoy preferential rates for certain charged events;
Enjoy FABA’s network both in France and in the United States;
Have a reciprocal membership to both FABA Paris and FABA New York;
Access events reserved to members only;
Have a dedicated session on FABA’s website (http://www.faba-law.org/)
To become a member of FABA in Paris, one must:
be (i) a member of a French Bar and/or a Bar in the United States, or (ii) a legal counsel or (iii) hold a Master 2 degree or équivalent or (iv) be admitted to a "Centre Régional de Formation à la Profession d’Avocat";
adhere to the organization's bylaws ;
pay the annual subscription, as determined by the Board of Directors;
be accepted by the Board of Directors.
Members contribute to the association's material needs by paying the annual suscription of sixty euros (60€) on the date determined by the Board of Directors for each calendar year.
 
However, the following people benefit from a reduced annual subscription set at forty euros (40€): (i) holders of a Master 2 degree or equivalent, (ii) students admitted to a "Centre Régional de Formation à la Profession d’Avocat" or (iii) attorneys or legal counsels aged less than twenty five (25) and working in a law firm or company.
